The Tennessee Yellow Dot Program helps give first responders individuals’ medical information in the event of a roadway emergency. Participants fill out a medical history form that they keep in their glove boxes. After that, they place a Yellow Dot Decal on the back window of their cars, which alerts first responders to check the glove box if there is an emergency.
Why does it matter?
In an emergency situation, every second can count. Knowing medical conditions, previous medical procedures, and medical allergies is important to treating a patient. Giving first responders medical information can help save your life!
How do I sign up?
You can register at the Elizabethton Senior Center or the Johnson City AAA. For more information, you can visit the Yellow Dot website.
