Deputies Arrest Four on Attempted Murder Charges

Carter County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested and charged four people for attempted murder on Thursday and Friday.

 

20-year-old Matthew Duane Dye, 38-year-old Ross Bee Kelly, and 41-year old Michael Todd Silcox are all charged with attempted first degree murder. 31-year-old Kasey Delamae Miller is charged with attempted first degree murder and aggravated kidnapping.

 

After she was arrested on a previous charge, investigators found a video on Miller’s cell phone showing her beating a man with a baseball bat. The video also showed three men helping her, leading to the other arrests.

 

All four suspects are being held in the Carter County Detention Center. Dye, Kelly, and Silcox are all being hold on $250,000 bonds, and Miller’s bond is set at $350,000.
