Jessica Maria Royse, daughter of Carter County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Officer Kevin Royse, will receive a Tennessee Sheriff’s Association scholarship toward her college education.
“I’m pleased to be able to help the young people connected to the Sheriff’s Office with their educations,” Sheriff Dexter Lunceford said. “We know Jessica will make us proud.”
Royse is a full-time student at Tusculum College studying environmental science. The $500 scholarship will be paid to Tusculum for the coming fall semester.
